Fiat 600D with Race upgrades & AH (Abarth) race engine For Sale (1961)Registration 911 VPG value approx (£2,000)
Engine number 1622085 AB 210
Chassis number 100D109344
This little early Fiat has been set up for race use with an uprated engine, urated brakes, and uprated suspension. The interior is quite Spartan with one new red racing bucket seat with a price tag of £700 on it still which dates back the late 1980's. There is also a roll cage fitted.
The engine is the most interesting part of this car as it is the same engine block that was used in the Fiat Abarth TC’s or TCR’s of the late 1960’s. The casting number under Dynamo on engine block are 910.289 29 and the letters AH are cast into the block. The stamped engine number; 100 000 however the interesting part is AB 210 is stamped over it which is the correct Abarth way.
The above details points to a 1000 cc Abarth TC engine fitted to this Fiat 600 which could possibly be a Radbourn Racing conversion as this car was stored / located very close to Radbourn Garage. This would be a fun historic racer elligable for
