Ford Escort Mk1 RS For Sale (1973)This car was built from a 1973 Mexico (v5c) to compete in the Scottish Classic Sports and Saloon car championship in 2008. It has raced for 6 seasons with some success including 2 outright wins this year at a very wet non championship Knockhill race meeting.

The engine has done 10 hours racing including qualifying since a pre season 2012 rebuild and has been totally reliable apart from a broken rocker. The car is easy to maintain as all the parts are readily available from Burton and Rallydesign. Starts no problem from hot or cold, turns in nicely, very forgiving when provoked, good on the brakes and excellent in wet conditions.
