I purchased the car at the start of this year as a daily driver and was amazed at the condition and low milage which was 52k at the time with a fully documented service history and old MOT'S.
The only thing letting the car down was two little patches of rust on both sills. (near the rear wheel arches)
So being the perfectionist that i am, i took the car down to my mates bodyshop and cut out the rust right back to solid rust free metal and fabricated and welded new metal in its place, while my mate went around the car with his keen eye and got rid of any inperfections he could find.(have pics on my phone to prove)
I then let my mate paint the whole car in it's original colour while i watched over his shoulder.
After giving him the nod to say that i'm happy with the paintwork i gave the car a treat of wax oil inside the chassis legs, behind the bumpers, inside sills,inside doors and anywhere else i could reach.
The car is sitting on a set of mk1 crx wheels(could do with a refurb) and the rear lights are off an F reg civic.
It's tax till end of August and mot'd till 16th november.
I have fitted a recon clutch, timing belt, new radiator and gave it an engine service.
The car stands me at around £1500 (half of that spent on re-paint) but i am willing to take reasonable offers. The only reason i'm selling this car is that i have restored the car what was meant to be my daily driver and i'm know looking for another daily driver as i don't want to spoil this little minter.
