| 1937 Morris Eight 8 Series 1 Four door saloon For Sale edit C47551 | | | Morris Eight Series 1 4 door saloon. Born in 1937 and in gleaming black this grand old lady is in fantastic condition. Unrestored and with all the original patina that brings she has had just 4 previous owners in all her 71 years and covered an amazingly low 26000 miles. Stack of MOTs, buff logbook and plenty of other interesting documents come with her. Sporting her original wire wheels, sunshine roof and picnic/luggage rack at rear she turns heads and makes people smile wherever she goes. She is in regular use and runs and drives superbly having been maintained by a local Roll-Royce and Bentley mechanical restoration company. Recent work includes brake overhaul, new linings and wheel cylinder rubbers, SU carb and fuel pump overhauls, points, condensor, plugs and full annual service and lube including all grease points using the original chart. Currently MOT'd to January 2009 she is just waiting to be driven and enjoyed this summer. Warning - she will quickly become part of the family!
