1995 M Mitsuoka viewt 1.3 auto baby mark 2 jag For Sale on Car And Classic UK

We have recently collected this from southampton docks and its the sixth viewt i have had in from japan, so, if you are unaware of these super little cars,what is a viewt? here is a brief description of the mark: the first viewt, introduced in january 1993, was produced on the basis of the k11 march (known as micra in the uk). the march's hatchback was replaced by a fixed rear window and rounded boot, and the front grille and headlamp assembly was replaced by one closely resembling that of the jaguar mark ii. In standard form the interior was much the same as the march's, but leather seats and wood trim could be added at extra cost. the viewt shared its 1.0- and 1.3-litre engines with the march. It was originally available with manual or automatic transmissions; Later more luxurious editions were automatic-only. this actual car is a 1.3 and automatic. so basically you get the best of both worlds-classic retro looks combined with modern day engineering and reliability and because this car has spent all its life in japan with salt free roads it has no rust! what is so wonderful about these is that nobody knows what it is ,i have had ferraris,tvrs, porsches etc but i swear these cars get more attention and dont forget you have all the classic retro looks with the modern day reliability so its not only good for shows but as everyday transport as well as you can see in the pictures it is a most attractive car with a lovely persona.the interior is in very good condition as is the bodywork which as i said previous has no rust and no bumps,there are two small area on the chrome of the front bumper which arent perfect.the car does however drive superbly well. it is fitted with aircon and has a wood insert on the dash and a wood steering wheel,there are small sunvisors on the top of each door and i have removed a "net curtain" arrangement (its in the boot if you do want to refit it) from the rear window.it does of course have power steering but requires a stereo and also a remote control to start the vehicle whilst you are not in the car (that really does make people jump when they stand near it and you start it with nobody sitting in it!). the car is fully registered and all duties paid-i am just waiting the number plates to be made,it has just been motd and taxed for 6 months. most importantly for any viewt when looking to purchase is the join on the roof at the rear where the rear window has replaced the aforementioned tailgate,they do tend to crack along there and fortunately this car has not and is perfect in that area which is wonderful news for any serious buyer of this car. this car is very sensibly priced and before you think that it wont be as good as the dearer cars for sale please think again-we generally sell fleet cars at low prices to ensure a fast turnover so this viewt is priced with our pricing policy in mind and not like so many grey import dealers seem to with thousand of pounds of profit!
