| 1973 Land Rover Lightweight Turbo Diesel SOLD C48607 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | For sale is my Land Rover SIII lightweight which I've owned since 2003, registered on an age related plate (1973) which is when it was actually built, it has 235 x 85 A/T tyres on Discovery steel wheels with plenty of tread as you can see from the pics, two Volvo seats in the front (which are more comfortable and also help with the suspension), it also has a swivel recovery point on the front and recovery eyes on the rear, I've also changed the engine to a Perkins Prima (Rover Montego) 2.0 L Turbo Diesel (much better and far more economical) with a Dudleigh conversion plate & kit, I've also fitted a snorkel (home made) and changed it to a one piece windscreen with triple wiper setup, (they all go the same way now) the tool/recovery kit box you can see in the back is bolted to the floor and obviouly comes with the motor, it is M.O.T.d till 19/10/2008 and I will M.O.T. it for another 12 months if the selling price is close enough to the asking price, any questions or to arrange to view/test drive (valid insurance will be required or you'll be in the passenger seat while I drive) give me a call on 07931 781837, I will consider any and all SENSIBLE offers.
