| 1968 Jaguar E-Type Roadster 4.2 (1968) For Sale (C48872) | | | This Jaguar E-Type Roadster (RHD) manual, was manufactured in 1968 and in 1995 and underwent a major restoration programme. The engine was built for unleaded fuel, the gearbox, suspension and rear axle were also rebuilt. In 2000 the vehicle was sold with me obtaining it in 2002. Since then I have made the following improvements and modifications: new differential 2.8-1; pacet fan; lumination and rev limiter; castrol response synthetic fluid; 5.5J stainless steel wheels with P4000 tyres; lightened and balanced fly wheel and diaphragm clutch; five speed getrac gearbox; cooper craft discs and callipers; Rob Beere head (option 3) matched to inlet and exhaust manifold/stainless steel; rebuild/remapped distributor to suit; needles and air filter to suit; facet red top fuel pump; uprate radiator; 235.4bhp at back wheels; Halogen head lights so you can see in the dark! Internally there have been numerous tweeks eg, custom made carpets.
I have lots of internal and engine pictures, however I would seriously recommend you viewing the car to appreciate it fully. For those of you wondering why I wish to sell, it is purely because I now have another project.
The car will be fully valeted before being handed over.
