1971 Dodge 440 Charger For Sale on Car And Classic UK

The car came to our shores last year from the sunny state of florida usa, where it had the engine recently fitted. on arrival, the charger drove superbly from southampton docks to my workshop in northampton. it has since had a strip down restore that included color coding the undercarriage to the rest of the car.. the undercarriage has also a rubberized coating under the paint to ensure many years of rustproofing. the engine is a 440 magnum with a 4 barreled holly carb and two four into one cherry bomb exhausts. you can expect about twenty to the gallon if you can resist the v8 roar and keep your foot off a bit... there is also an l,p,g conversion available from tinleytech of cambridge,, about £600. alternatively,,, you could install a hydrogen generator using just water and 12v to drastically improve the mpg. (type "hho" into u.tube.) during the restore, the charger has new brakes, headlining,carpet,steering and suspension parts etc,etc, power steering, and disc brakes fitted. there is plenty of tax and mot on the car,, and the tax status is exempt . the car is now a daily runner and can be driven to any part of the country without a problem. a very special piece of mopar history. you can follow the links below to see videos... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4rwxnl1m1g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqnywwc9oss
