| Saab 96 classic "London-Sahara-London" Rally car For Sale edit C49591 | | | '69 SAAB 96- built to compete in events such as the London-Sahara-London rally. This car has been completely built for the rigors of rally driving. Thousands have been spent preparing this car in the UK. In addition to the huge array of lighting equipment, it has a full roll cage, 4 wheel disc brakes, Koni gas shocks, secondary coil and fuel pump, genuine Minilite alloy wheels, "lift off" fibreglass hood, rear fenders, and trunk panel, plexiglas rear windows, alloy fuel cell, rally seats & harnesses, Brantz rally clock, electric breaker panel on dash, stopwatch, battery cutoff switch, fire system, Supertrapp exhaust, etc. This car once had a wild full race 1815cc engine with dual Dellortos. It is now fitted with a mildly tuned engine for reliability and longevity (more suited to long distance rally use). Runs and drives great. Fantastic event car eligible for multiple vintage rallies worldwide. Car is road-registered and has an Arizona title. Currently located in Santa Barbara, California.
