Humber Supersnipe For Sale (1961)
This is my 1961 series 3 Supersnipe, which I have owned for the last 23 years. The car was restored back in 1991-92 and since then has only done about 5000 dry miles (76,000 in total).
As you can see from the photos the car looks fantastic. All the chrome if very nice indeed, the bumpers are like new. Its just had new door handles, white wall tyre trims and hubcaps. She drives very nice and the engine purrs like a kitten. Wheel arches are rust free,it still has the original carpets. MOT runs untill january.
Now for the bad points... As you can see from the photos,the rear window seal is missing the chrome trim. I have some of it but the rubber would need replacing befor you could fit it. The carpet in the near side foot well rotted away in the corner, prior to the restoration but the rest is in very good condition indeed, which is why I hav'nt replaced them. There is no rust on the body but the underseal on the chassis is dry and flaky in areas.
