| Citroen Dyane 6 Weekend SOLD (1980) C49925 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | This car is in good condition for its age with only 33,000 miles on the clock. Some work needed on rear hatch, rear wing and one passenger door but nothing major required. Chassis is original but in excellent condition being waxoyled and undersealed regularly from new.
Extras inc are :-
(1) ELELECTRONIC IGNITION (no points- so no starting problems whatsoever).
(2)New Black roof (2CV City) and 2 new MABOR tyres fitted, seat covers etc etc.
(3)FM Radio/MP3 player. (one speaker needs re-fixing as I knocked it with my foot the other day whilst cleaning out the junk ready for sale)

I would point potential buyers to the following :-
(1) Rear hatch door hinge needs some slight repair. not urgent.
(2) Front off-side light - slight rusting (nothing much)replacement lights are cheap enough from ECAS.
(3) Rear near-side wing - slight rust on seal to main body (again only slight)a complete new wing is £60 - this does NOT need a new wing just some treatment in a small area.
(4) Rear off-side passenger door - some rust along bottom edge (very minor)Again this would take minutes to repair and cost very little.
These are the faults I am aware of and I've tried to be as honest in the appraisal as possible.
The main areas such as chassis,boot well,sills,bonnet hinge aare all known weak points and are sound.The interior is excellent and seats are original (80's retro chic striped BROWN & ORANGE!) but are in very good condition.
The chassis has been waxoyled regularly and has been undersealed from new with no breaks in continuity.
The main selling point I think is the VERY LOW MILEAGE, the low number of owners actually 2 since the first owner had it for most of its life in his garage and the second owner didn't drive it anywhere and kept it in his garage and I have driven about 3000 miles in the last 18 months and kept it in my garage.
The general overall condition is very good considering its nearly 30 years old and paintwork is original with a few minor touch-ups from previous owner.
I've knocked £500 OFF THE PRICE because of a time-waster so now is the opportunity to take "Ollie" at a BARGAIN BASEMENT PRICE!
