Only 528 turbo cabriolets were manufactured and this car is one of only 102 RHD cars imported into the UK (official Porsche supplied figures).
This example was first registered on 28th February 1991. Prior to this it was used by Porsche GB as their in-house display car at Reading Headquarters following its arrival in the UK on 30th Jan 91.
The car has had 3 previous owners with the last one being in possession of the car from September 94 until June 07. In this 13 year period the car only covered 30,649 miles hence the current low mileage.
The car has just had full major service, replacement front discs and pads, air-con re-gas to current R134a specification, brake fluid change, and new timing belts (all done at 70,572 miles). Steering pump has also recently been replaced at 70,045 miles. Clutch checked at 73,000 miles by Porsche Dealership - shows approx. 50% life still remaining.
The only modification is a BBR chip fitted by the previous owner which adds approx 60lb ft of torque (according to BBR). This can be reverted to a standard ECU for approx £200 if required. Otherwise this car is original and un-messed with. It drives beautifully. This is a very quick car with great handling. It's quicker than most modern day sports cars and was faster (and had better handling) in its day than normally aspirated 911s.
I am selling it with regret due to house improvements needed.
