| Triumph Dolomite 1500 HL For Sale (1978) edit C53274 | | | This is a 1978 Triumph Dolomite 1500 HL in factory Sandglow paintwork with a brown interior.This car is in very nice original condition,5 owners the last 30 years with a genuine 62,000 miles on the clock.All old Mots since 1996 have been saved by previous owners as well as servicing and repair work invoices.Such repairs being a reconditioned differential unit fitted along with a central propshaft bearing.
More recently a propshaft universal joint was replaced by myself and the car passed its MOT in June this year so is ready for the road again.
The car drives really well,the bodywork is also in very good condition along with a very tidy interior,everything works and the wood veneer on the doors and dash are in very good condition.The headlining is also really clean and tear free.
The only small thing is some sun damage to the fabric on the upper portion of the rear seat nearest the rear window.Carpets are also in very good original condition.
These are really comfortable cars to drive and are also very pleasing for passengers due to its soft ride and inviting interior,better than most cars of similar class of the 70's.It also turns heads from many people as you drive,especially kids and teenagers,it just looks so different to them,just a fun piece of transport.
Im selling the car because i just dont have the time to take it to classic car shows which was my plan the last year due to other commitments so i hope someone else will be able to give it the use it deserves.
