If you know anything about Jensen cars you will know that this car is just about as rare an Interceptor variant as it gets. Most people, even within Jensen circles have not seen one in the 'flesh'! One of the last Jensens ever made.
This car is one of only 4 yes only 4 made in Aruba red with Magnolia trim combination.
The cars history file claims it to be one of only 9 such rhd cars known to exist today !!
Autocar described the panther roofed coupe in'76 as
'the gucci car for the beautiful people, it combines all the strands of the fighter pilot syndrome with the manor house syndrome'
The extensive history file tells that it had a total 'ground up restoration' during a ten year off road period from 1989 to 1999 during the ownership of the then JOC chairman. Following this restoration the car enjoyed successes in J.O.C concours events during '98 and more awards in '99. The cars body and paint is still in superb order with very few blemishes.
Since this restoration the car records show of a further £18,000 pounds being lavished on it from 1999 to 2004.
engine : chrysler 7.2 litre (440ci) with unleaded heads and running superbly with full stainless steel exhaust system.
transmission : torqueflite hi performance 3 speed automatic with torque converter. Limited Slip Diff.
