| Show Winning!! Mercury Cougar XR7 For Sale (1967) edit C56094 | | | This car is quite built, here is the information that I know about the car. The car sounds beautiful and runs excellent. The paint job is superb, original color, as you can see in the photos. The body is as straight as they come. Unfortunately due to British vehicle laws, the sequencial turn signal lights had to be modified, but all the wiring is still there. Just passed MOT on 4 July 08. Car is classified as a historical vehicle therefore road tax is free.
1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 Custom;
-The paint & body work was done by Pete’s Auto body in Reno NV
-This car was originally purchased from West Coast Cougar (rust free car) and has all original panels including floor pans, etc.
-The Engine & interior was done by RDW Automotive, who are a Mustang Restoration shop using demon, Elebrook, MSD, Griffin, Morosso, ARP, speed pro, Hooker parts.
-Car is Lime Frost green (original color) with black vinyl roof, painted black pinstriping, and new dark green leather interior.
-Car has a custom '69 302 engine making around 350hp.
-Transmission is a custom c4 fully manual valve body done by Levrett Transmissions who do racing transmissions.
-The dash is all original.
-I have the original owners manual with original owners name inside, Warranty fact booklet, Plan Ahead for Safety booklet, Oregon plates last registered in Jun 1986, and invoice for West Coast Classic Cougar, inc.
-Regarding what type of heads are on the engine, they are aluminum Edelbrock RPM heads.
-The engine has 8,500 adult driven miles,
-the trans has 7,000 miles on it,
-and the rear axle has 3,300 miles with 3:23 gearing.
