| Triumph 1500 fwd (only 48,000 miles) SOLD (1973) C56197 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | This is a very nice unrestored triumph 1500 front wheel drive. I would say that this is the nicest classic car for sale in Scotland for less than £1,000. This was the luxury triumph that all dolomites were based on.
There can be very few unmolested 1500's in the uk and certainly not many in this nice unrestored condition.
There was a bump on the front near side corner which has left a very small crease on the bumper but it is difficult to see. The rest of the chrome is virtually perfect, including the really nice chrome hubcaps.
The paint is still really nice. The inside is amazing and is testament to the mileage reading of 48,000.
When new, these compact executive cars were built to Rover standards. There are 2 original colour sales brochures and a workshop manual with the car. Just passed its mot with only a top ball joint needed.
The underside is totally solid (almost unbelieveable for 35 years !)
If you are in the market for a really nice classic car for not loads of money then this could be the one.
You should really see this car. You will not be disappointed.
