| TR4 with long MoT and Tax. Sound and reliable! SOLD (1963) C56352 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | Due to a cull of my car collection, I need to sell some of my up and running cars. Unfortunately one casualty is my TR4.
MoTed until June 2009, I have just driven her to Classic Le Mans, she didn't miss a beat, use any water or any oil. Just before going had an oil and filter change, and new plugs points and condenser. We have now done Le Mans 3 times together.
Last year, I fitted new rear cylinders and shoes, front discs, pads and calipers.
She benefits from a TR4A hood, chrome wire wheels, an unleaded head, a rollbar and overdrive. Everything works well,but the wiper motor is a bit slow. The chassis appears perfect.
The original seats had been recovered, but one of the frames was rubbish, so the cover is now damaged. I have fitted a pair of cheap vinyl buckets, so these come with it. She has a walnut dash fitted, though the middle dials have no illumination.
Bodily, she looks presentable, but has poorly executed repairs which are starting to come through. The rear seams have been filled, the sills are dented, but basically I am after restoration project money for her!
Not perfect, but still shiny. Not an original car, but find another useable TR4 with chrome wires, overdrive and an unleaded head for this money!
Please, no timewasters, cash on collection.
