| Porsche 911 German Import SOLD (1979) C56485 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | I bought my 3ltr Porsche 911 SC from a German enthusiast / collector in March 2007. Since then it has been garaged in Scotland when not driven. I’ve now brought it south to my home in Surrey now but due to not having a garage down here I've decided to sell.
The car had an engine rebuild in 1996, new interior and at the same time it was re-sprayed.
It has 180k miles on the clock at the moment which seems a lot but possibly not too bad for a car which is nearly 30 years old.
It has an MOT and I use it each week. It is remarkably reliable for it's age and drives well. I have a reasonable amount of history of the car much of it in German.
I have been enjoying doing small cosmetic tidies to the car for some time and at the moment I'm working on the door locks and surrounding areas.
Mechanically it is fine and I am working my way though corners of the interior that need a little attention. In all it's a car in good shape for being 30 years old.
