GREAT LITTLE 70'S FAVOURITE For Sale (1979)
Completely rebuilt in 1996 to a professional standard this classic little flyer is in great shape both mechanically and in appearance. Sounds fantastic and performs just like a GT250 should, those of you who had one in your youth will appreciate what I mean. She starts 1st time and runs like a Rolex between 60 and 75mph (goes faster but I respect older ladies so she has not been pushed to the limits). I have been all over Cumbria and Cheshire on the two good Sundays!!!we've had this summer, such is my confidence in her reliability.
Everything works as it should, lights, horn, indicators, brakelights, choke, clutch, gearbox, the lot. She is taxed and MOT'd until March of next year.
Ideally I would like you to come and see the bike for yourself before making a committment so phone me beforehand, I'll have the kettle on, in fact PHONE ME if you have any questions (do not email, my hotmail seems to have problems dealing with new callers at present).
I will consider near offers to the asking price of £975, but nothing silly please. Many thanks.
