| Sunbeam Alpine Series IV Automatic 1 yr MOT&Tax For Sale (1964) edit C56778 | | | Only 87 were ever built of this Series 4 automatic. Lots of history- It has had rebuilt engine and gear box fitted. It has only covered a few hundred miles since then.
Last year it only went to the MoT place and back.So it really is time it was with someone who will appreciate it more and give it the TLC it deserves to make it sparkle.
It has been kept in a garage at least for the last eight years we have had it and it was kept in a garage beforehand as well.
Bodywise it could benefit from a respray (even though the paintwork is passable for driving around in). There are a couple of small dents/ scratches There is some trim needed. The chrome is 95% fine. Mechanically fine apart from a joint or linkage to improve the ride.
It is a charming car with numerous original features such as the great wooden steering wheel etc.
It comes with with stainless exhaust system has been tuned up.
Has had cylinder head converted so runs on unleaded petrol. : )
Pile of spares & bits and bobs...
12 Months of MOT. (Have old MOTs too). Road tax is free.There is a years car tax on the disc .

As apart of ongoing maintanance have purchased ball joint even though the one on it is still functioning. Can be fitted for the new owner...
