| Ford Capri Brooklands 280 For Sale (1986) edit C57502 | | | here we have my brooklands capri build number 336 its in stunning condition with mint arches and mint roof no signs of rust its one of the better ones out there having been restored in 2000 with all original parts in place even front wings are original and rear arches original .....the engine bay was restored last year at classic restorations in alyth its had strut top plates done so good they look like original engine was took out and inside bay was painted to a very high standard engine was painted as well plus had the head rebuilt to run unleaded fuel all work carried out comes with reciept everything that could be polished was and some parts even powdercoated to give the car a stunning look under the bonnet it looks newer than a brand new car ........the car has also got poly bushes all round and had a front brake upgrade using mondeo calipers and cosworth disks to help with the stopping the wheels are minted having being powdercoated last year and has all 4 tyres matching pirreli new exhaust last year stainless steel from front to back at a cost of over £700 with reciept ........the paint work on the car is stunning and always gets polished with mguires wax the car has been polished around 10 times this year as i do local shows with the car always needs to look good inside of the car is mint uncracked dash with original radio plus original electric ariel the seats are mint drivers seat has minor wear but its very minor carpets are like brand new and been well looked after rear seats are mint inside door checks are mint as well no rust no rot tailgate is mint no rust in the usual places under boot carpet is mint as well there are no signs of rot or rust no signs of any welding ever been done all arches on car are mi9nt sunroof mint no bubbles front scuttle pan mint no rust or holes the gearbox and rear diff was reconed and theres no whinnes from diff .........there is over 3 folders of history to go with this car with old tax discs and old mots the original service book comes with the car fully stamped up to date its got pics from restoration and a dvd with pics as well ......the car is something else ive been to see a few before i bought this one and believe me theres some scrap out there this ones at the top of the tree in every way please no dreamers or timewasters its a serious car with serious history ......the car also apppeared in a comedy with the bbc comedy unit .....it should be out on tv before christmas the car played a small part in the comedy its called zimmy anyone wanting to check phone the comedy unit in glasgow for confirmation ......the car was also owned by a tv presenter down south i have his details phone number etc ........i have summed up the car to the best of my knowledge and i have more pics of underneath if anyone wants too see more its a true car with good history please no timewasters.... the car is always garaged
