I've owned this stunning Mercedes 300sl for little over a year with great pleasure. I've always wanted to own what I consider to be a classic Mercedes shape from the late 1980s. I'm not particularly mechanically minded, so a reliable classic was a must. I would also argue that this shade of blue suits the 300sl perfectly. This Merc really looks stunning with hard top on or off.
So far the car has covered 88,000 miles, will fully documented service history. The engine starts first time and pulls strongly at all times (sounds great too). Fuel consumption very reasonable, so a completely useable classic all round.

Comes as factory fitted with rear seats, original Blaupunkt radio/cassette player, automatic transmission, electric windows, hard top (in great condition), soft top (in near perfect condition), cruise control, fog lights, original Mercedes first aid kit, a few of the original Mercedes tools, service manual and logbook, Mercedes SL sales brochure, half leather/cloth seats, power steering etc.
Since I've owned this Merc it has only been driven in dry weather, and garaged at all other times. I've serviced the car at a local garage who specialise in classic cars. The car is also taxed and MOT'd until next year, and has 2 new rear tyres.
I'm selling the car to help fund the purchase of my next classic - a 1970s Porsche 911. Otherwise I would happily own this car indefinitely.
