I rebuilt this car from bare chassis up. My focus was on the mechanicals, so no expense was spared on the engine (professionally rebuilt by Amazon Cars - 8000 miles done since), rolling chassis, suspension, brakes, bushes, brand new overdrive (how rare is that!).
The car benefits from a complete bodywork rebuild and professional spray job. I will challange even the most diligent inspector to find a speck of rust - the body is SOLID.
This car will not be able to compete in concourse as I have mixed things around. I bought an 1800S as a donor car. The engine is twin carb (do away with unreliable injection) and the dash is 1800S, which is way more attractive that the E dash. Apart from that it is an E.
Upholstry is in excellent condition apart from the door rests.
Must be seen to be believed. I drove her to work every day, she is sweet.
