| Lovely old Jag SOLD (1984) C58656 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | Here we have my beloved jag, for sale because I have purchased another inappropriate British classic. In nice condition, JEC valuation for £3000. Paint work is a bit tired but polishes up ok. Some rust spots (treated) around bottom of wings and windscreen. small hole in rear valance, all non-structural and purely cosmetic.
Interior excellent condition, recently fitted refurbished leather interior, no headlining sag, new myrtle products centre console. All and I mean all of the electrics work, windows, central locking, trip computer, mirrors,seats, even the aerial. Has Sony tape and CD multi charger fitted, has MP3 adapter
Runs beautifully, engine just purrs along, gearbox reconditioned so changes smoothly without clunks. Reconditioned steering rack, recent full service cost me £950. It has a full service history. Complete original tool kit. Has been perfectly reliable and has never let me down. Has been on a couple of european tours where it performed faultlessly and gathered admiring glances wherever it went. Boot swallows remarkable amount of wine.
All in all a very honest example of a fine British classic, that I will be very sorry to see go.
