| Rover SD1 2600 For Sale (1979) edit C59715 | | | A unique opportunity to purchase a 1979 Rover SD1 2600 series 1 with vitesse spoiler and bumpers fitted. This particular example has covered an astonishing low mileage of 45000 from new. I have owned this car for little less than 2 years, but was previously in the hands of the company I work for and was dry stored there for over 8 years (not turning a wheel). The body has always been superb, I assume because it’s got evidence in the history of spending time in Spain, but 2 years ago it was subject to a bare metal respray, the painter of the SD1 was also the owner of it at the time so you can imagine the quality of the job. The arches are perfect and were before the paintwork, so no filler or repair arches etc.
Bought by me to be used but I have just not got the time to have a hobby car at the moment. The headlining needs replacing to make the interior smarter.
I have recently had all new front end polybushes done and the bottom arms as there was some play there, four pot callipers fitted etc. This is a superb car just in need of minor finalising. Never to be repeated with a body like this, and sold with a full years MOT!
