you are looking at a stunning 1975 classic daimler sovereign 4.2 auto coupe xjc 33 years old.
this car has onlt had 4 previous owners in its 33 year life with the last owner having owned this vehicle 22 years. This beautifull car was his pride and joy and recently he spent over £11,000 restoring the car to its former glory.
unfortunately i did not get any bills from the restoration but from what i can see i will list most of the thing's that were done:
full respray.
front and rear bumpers rechromed.
new sills.
seats retrimmed in a beautifull cream leather.
new vinal cream everflex roof (works really well).
manual choke conversion.
also i was told a lot of engine work was carried out and it has not even been run in since. I can not be sure to exactly what was done but the engine does run great.
also there must have been a lot more work carried i.e new panels etc but i have only listed the things i can see.
this beautifull car is finished in the original daimler maroon/red colour and looks amazing finished with the cream everflex roof which contrasts wonderfully with the coach work and interior.
the interior is a full cream leather eith wood facia which looks superb.
the shape of this car is so sexy and when you have the windows down making it a pillarless coupe it looks even better showing of those sexy curves and making it a great fun car on those nice days.
the daimler coupes are the most prized by serious collectors as they were only produced in such small numbers in total only 1677 with only 471 being produced in 1975.
this car should be fitted with the daimler fluted grills but when the previous owner went about restoring the car he could not find any of these grills available so opted for the jaguar look instead.
the daimler sovereign coupe is a pure demonstration of daimler over engineering at its best. As the old saying goes they dont make them like they use to.
i recently drove this car on a 60 mile trip and it was a amazing experience. This car commands admiring looks wherever you go.
i have set a very low price on this car i have seen xjc's commanding in excess of £9,000. so be very quick not to miss out on this bargain.
the car has 8 months mot and 5 months road tax and is ready to enjoy.
