The vehicle was put in for a total ground up nut and bolt professional restoration. The work included many sensible upgrades with a view to possible classic rallying or just user friendly motoring. The work carried out has cost in excess of £36,000.
The upgrades include racing seats, roll bar, full harness, Sparlo seatbelts, new Smiths gauges, Moss Minilite alloy wheels, uprated front and rear antiroll bars, adjustable shockers, lightweight racing battery, oil cooler, electronic ignition, uprated front discs and callipers, Moss rack and Pinion steering conversation, right hand drive conversion. The engine has been fully balanced and bored out, lightened flywheel and special clutch. The head was ported and polished, high lift camshaft, Toyo road/race tyres fitted, fully waxoyled.
The car was completed in April 2007 and has covered just 1,938 miles to date. It comes complete with the Heritage Certificate and the original Californian title showing the original owner.
