| Mitsubishi Galant 16 valve "rare intresting car" For Sale (1988) edit C60121 | | | So this is a 1988 Mitsubishi Galant GTi 16 valve manual saloon with MoT until mid April 09 and Tax until the end May 09. With just over 100,000 miles on the clock you can see that this has been well looked after and only lightly used. It is generally in very good condition, drives well, very well equipped and is quite a quick car. It would seem that the 4G63 engine is a bit of a legend and is basically the same as the one used to power most of the Lancer Evos, it certainly is a nice powerful smooth motor and makes this Galant a real pleasure to drive.
The number plate is also very intresting especially for Fulham or Falkirk Supporters F123 FFC !!!!!!!!

Mechanical Condition:
The engine runs perfectly with no rattling or smoking etc, sounds good, feels smooth and pulls well with plenty of power, no oil or water leaks etc. The gearbox complements the engine well with nice short ratios, it works perfectly. Exhaust, steering, suspension and brakes all work absolutely fine with the ABS working correctly. Just had Oil changed with air and oil filter and also the spark plugs.
Exterior condition:
For a car that's nearly 20 years old it is really amazing. Utterly rot free underneath, never welded and for it's age in extremely good condition, way way better than most cars this age. There is a small amount of surface rust on the skirt under the front wings by the wheelarches and a piece of trim is missing on the bottom of the front wing behind the wheel (i have the part number if needed). Otherwise the silver paintwork gleams like new all over, there are no dents or scrapes and the car looks very very nice indeed.
Interior condition:
Unbelievably good, dry, clean and sweet smelling, very comfortable, incredibly well equipped, virtually perfect carpets, seats etc, everything works, stunning for it's age and a very nice place to be.
Service history:
At this age and price no surprise that history is not complete although it is pretty good and there are bills for things like rear brakes and clutch slave cylinder recently.
This is a very good car and is also a pleasure to drive i will take £520 without the tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!
