Very original BMW e21 320 A with 4 cylinder M10 engine (as used in 2002) and 3 speed automatic gearbox. Only 41,797 miles in 40 years!
The car was owned from new by the same family until I bought it in 2006. The car has always been dry stored although, unfortunately, it was next to a window at its old home which is why the paintwork has deteriorated down one side, one the roof and bonnet. The engine and gearbox work faultlessly although the automatic choke no longer works. Since I have never used the car in cold or wet conditions this has never caused me a problem but it should not be too hard to rectify. Brakes have been upgraded to those used on the 323.
In the photos the car is on wheels from a 323 as I personally prefer these but the car will be sold with its original wheels and the 323 wheels sold separately.
Original tool kit and radio are all present.
I have only ever seen one other e21 of this age advertised and I have never seen another with such low mileage; this car truly deserves to be in a collection or on a concours.
Trim will be reattached before collection.
I am only selling due to a recent change of job resulting in moving house and losing storage facilities soon.
This is a lovely and usable example of an E21. OBA 73P is believed to be the earliest surviving RHD E21. Built in 1975 and first registered January 1976. Just passed its MOT (now until 4th August 2018) .....
Remember when it was just out in the market, the all new BMW 3 series? Probably your dad, rich auntie or neighbor drove one. A 6 cylinder, coupe in one of those amazing 70s colors. At the age of 5 it .....
