SIMCA ARONDE RARE!!! For Sale (1954) edit C61431 | | | A rare SIMCA Aronde, first registered in February 1954. This little French car is very useable, with a four speed gearbox and 12 volts electrics, and is guaranteed to turn heads whenever you use it. It has been sympathetically restored, and is full of charm! The car is located in Normandy, about 45 minutes from Caen / Ouistreham ferry port.
Plus points:
1. Bodywork, paint and interior have been professionally restored to a high standard.
2. Front suspension has been rebuilt. Brake cylinders and hoses are new, and use silicon brake fluid.
3. 4 new Michelin MX tyres.
4. The car’s structure is exceptionally sound, and last “Controle Technique” showed zero faults.
5. Some new hard to find parts (headlamp surround, front indicator lens, wiper blades and arms) and accessories (Robri exhaust trim, F plate).
6. Low mileage (71000 kilometres), and it drives extremely well.
Minus points:
1. The rear bumper needs re-chroming.
