| 280 e with RARE ABS (on an 82 !!!!) For Sale (1982) edit C61795 | | | I have had this car for 4 months and am genuinely only selling because it is simply too good for my needs, I should have bought a shabbier one as I need a car for everyday use and this is simply way too good for that purpose. And as I don't have the space to have this car as an extra vehicle, it needs to go (to a good home).
Otherwise, I would keep it as bodily, the condition is simply too good.
This car is a stunner and the lucky new owner will get many admiring comments from passers by (I always do !).
The Previous owner had the car for 16years with Full Service History. I have the Service book, all MOTs, all receipts.
I have spent approximately £2000 during those 4 months with the best Mercedes garage out there, John Haynes in Worthing (too many items sorted to list here).
The car is taxed, MOT'd and is simply as beautiful as the pictures show.
It also comes complete with that special private number plate, worth around £400 (and yes, everybody will ask you is an "i" a legal letter, yes it is !).

And the all important ABS which, is incredibly rare on an 1982 model (I have had 4 of these cars and none of them except this one had ABS).
I also have a Full Size DiskLok which fits the large steering wheel if the buyer is interested (i.e. negotiable).
This car has such presence, and glides along. It is the only car my 5 year doesn't feel sick in ! He will be VERY VERY sad to see this go and has already told me at least 5 times not to sell it..........
