Just had £2750 spent on it @ Paul Matty sports cars to sort out the steering geometry. Had a huge amount of new parts fitted including; mounting radius arm, rear hub bearings, hub nut, universal joints, bushes, outboard drive shaft, front wishbones and so on. As you'd expect from the expertise at Paul Matty, the car now drives like an absolute dream, really is awesome to drive and turns heads wherever it goes.
From the folder of receipts, its had a lot of love over the years and benefits from having a solid chassis and had re-chromed bumpers in 2005, and as you can see from the pictures they really shine! I recently fitted a Banks Europa (Europa Engineering) centre console along with a custom made engraved stereo blanking plate and chrome gear gaiter surround.
Generally the car is in very good condition with the odd spider and graze (but only very minor, and when polished up barely noticeable). Further improvements the new owner may wish to make are a new starter ring gear and choke cable. I must stress though, the car always starts and runs very well. Gearbox is surprisingly good on this Europa with the gear changes being positive and firm. All the electrics work perfectly too.
Really is a stunning looking car and now drives perfectly to match the looks.
As well as a large folder of history, it also comes with the big Lotus Europa manual, boot box/tray aswell as many spare parts.
