Here is my old trusty friend, I have had to put her up for sale due to a downturn in my personal circumstances, it will break my heart when she goes but I can no longer give her the love and attention she desperately needs, I want her to go to a good home where she can once again roam the countryside again as all good old Land Rovers were meant to do, she has a 2.25 petrol heart which normally starts second time over, 4 good tyres and 2 new unfitted spare tyres are available too, I have other small spares in a box, just service parts, gaskets, plugs, points etc.
Her chassis I believe to be on the whole good, most of the rusty bits I cut out and replaced with new metal & treated accordingly, her body is worn & a bit dented here & there but after 43 years we all get like that.
She had 4 new springs fitted 4 years ago, since then she has traveled about 1000 miles, her steering joints, universal joints in both prop shafts and front half shafts have been replaced at around the same time, she needs a loving owner to keep her going, please don’t break her up, If you are a true Land Rover lover you will understand the emotion in my advert, this is a very very sad day I thought would never come.
