| TR6 PI fully restored 150bhp overdrive For Sale (1970) edit C62295 | | | 1970 TR6 for sale , it is signal red in colour , the earlier 150BHP PI version with A type Overdrive . A full body off rebuild was completed in 2005 and the car has done approx 4000miles since . All the body panels were painted off the car so the underside and rear of all panels are also shiney bright red . The suspension was stiffened adjustable trailing arm mounts and adjustable shock absorbers fitted all round , the car handles extremely well . It looks reasonably standard but I fitted a fast road cam when I rebuilt the engine and it pull like a train with the typical TR6 roar from the twin exhaust pipes . There is paperwork going back about 20 years or so and a huge file of receipts for parts alone totalling about 19k over the last 7/8 years . It always attracts many favourable comments when out . Time to move on though as I am rebuilding a TR2 just now and have another early TR6 with history back to 1974/5 which is in bits needing a rebuild .I may consider a convertable XJS or something old and interesting as a part exchange
