SAAB 900 CLASSIC HEADLINING RETRIMMING (979-) edit C64509 | | | Many know by now that I offer this service
I have probably replaced approx 100 headlinings in c900 from 2 door and 3 door and 5 door models
I designed the service as a way of keeping c900's on the road and thus keeping the spares business going. I was a little upset seeing people not happy as their beloved c900 was taken away for scrap or simply to sell on to someone else who was more forgiving of its' faults.
I live in Luton, the trimmer is in Redditch, he is a good friend of mine and allows me use of his workshop and does the clever bit of trimming the material onto the biscuits.
The price varies based on where you are and whether you can get the car to Redditch for me
Minimum price is £260
That gets a collection, if you're on the way to Redditch for me, car needs to be fuelled
The biscuit retrimmed, the sunroof panel retrimmed and the rear 3/4's retrimmed
Return of the vehicle to required destination, you can use my car in the meantime.
The work will take a full day and I will need to collect either previous evening or approx 6.00am to 7.00am
Your car will be returned between 5.00pm and 9.00pm but may be later or next day if you're a long way from me.
It is commonly a 15 hour+ day for me.
I need to speak to you to identify potential issues before heand and you will need to go on a list.
I get a window in the workshop and I contact the list in chronological order. The first that can handle the short notice, it usually is, is the car I do and we move onwards in that fashion. For longer distance customers I try and schedule but it could be weeks and weeks away
