Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present for sale this rare 1953 Allard K3. This example is White with a Black Interior and top. It’s powered by a 1953 Cadillac 331ci V8 and changes gears through a LaSalle 3 speed manual transmission. The front suspension is a Ballemy Split Axle and the rear is a DeDion unit. There was a scant 63 of these cars made by Sir Sidney Allard between 1953 and 1956. This K3 had the same owner between 1960 and 2007 and has traveled only 23,300 miles since new. The Body is all Aluminum over a tubular steel frame. The Caddy engine in this one is strong, healthy and sounds great. There are no rips, fading or cracking in the interior, the dashboard, trim, carpet and glass all present very nicely. The gearbox, steering, brakes and suspension all work as they should. This Allard needs nothing and is ready to enjoy. This example had the same owner for 47 years! Interesting history on this significant motorcar.
