| Riley Kestrel untouched and unmolested For Sale (1970) edit C66500 | | | I have for sale my 1970 Riley Kestrel 1300 Mk2. The car has covered only 66000. Last used in 2006, kept warm ever since. This car has defied the ageing process, never been welded nor treated badly, no modifications and as it left the factory. The car has been ziebarted and waxoyled to within an inch of it's life !! Inner wings, trumpets, sills, floors subframe, all good and repair free. As you can see from the pictures it is in thoroughly good order. It runs and drives just as it should..........this car is totally unusual in that it has no notorious defects that usually afflict this model range. The paint is dull, and will respond to a good cut or compound, there is some tin worm infestation at the tips of the headlamps and at the lower edge of the drivers door, however, if these points are attended to now they will be an easy repair. Interior very clean, but, sadly there is a tear in the drivers seat. All chrome in excellent order and without damage, and surprisingly....the wheel knaves and embellishers are present and perfect................fabulous. I am selling as is. Thanks for your interest.
