| FORD CAPRI V8 - BASIL GREEN PERANA For Sale (1971) edit C66509 | | | Up for sale is an original Mk1 Ford Capri Perana V8 commissioned by Basil Green as a Motorsport weapon for Ford South Africa in the early seventies. Number 232 of an estimated 500 cars built (although it is unclear as to what the final number was), she has survived as a decent original specimen of this iconic South African Muscle Car.
Many cars have been butchered and destroyed over the years, so it is unclear how many genuine cars are left.
In Peri-Peri Red and sporting the original 302cid V8 motor, she is one of few built with the C4 Auto box as standard. This is a matching numbers, two owner car with 131,000Km on the odo.
