| Pontiac Trans am ws6 pack , much loved car For Sale (1979) edit C66822 | | | For Sale for 6995 no offers, My Pontiac trans-am, i have owned the car since june 1996, i have strived to keep it in as original condition as i can, as alot of others that i see have been messed around with.The car has always been stored in a warm garage and only had summer use , like crusing around locally and yearly trips to billing and Americana etc . Included with the car is the original pink alloy Key, original complete jack (4 parts) , original unused space saver tyre + another trans am tyre and wheel which i have used as the spare, padded t-top bags, front bug and stonechip bra (see pics). I have the original sales sheet, showing the car fitted with the ws6 pack. Colour solar gold, and built in the van nuys plant california. The engine is a Oldsmobile 403 ci and is the original one , i have had some work done on the engine in the past by Joe Risebourgh from Buxton and other jobs. All the engine compartment is pretty much original , the air conditioning was taken out when i bought it , but i have everything (see pic). I have had the car resprayed around 6 years ago and had the correct sticker kit added. I left all the inside of the boot and insides of the doors , so i could keep all the original stickers. The tyres are like new, i had the radiator re-cored a while back and new door seals , i have a load of invoices for parts and jobs that i have had done, . The overall condition of the car is Excellent and very original. It has one inch long scratch on one wing and a few stone chips and other very tiny scratches and 2 tiny rust places where i put the door seals on to early while the paint was soft , and it pushed the paint up . There is a crack in the window screen , a common fault. Every year i mean to get it done through the insurance , but it passes the mot and i never get round to it . There isnt any rot at all on the car , it has just been in for an MOT and the mechanic said it is in great condition underneath for the age, he said it could do with a wax oil , but i would rather leave it as i dont want anyone thinking that i have covered anything nasty up. The Mot that i have just had done cost £450 , as it needed a reconditioned rear break caliper and i finally had the red flashing brakelight cut off , so just the amber ones flash , legal at last!! There are loads of other good things, but i will be sitting here all night. The thing i liked about the car is that it is a very drivable car, a real eyectcher and that V8 oldsmobile soulds fantastic. Finally the reson for sale is lack of use due to the starting of a family. I also have other ideas for the garage space . This is a very reluctant sale , and will be sadly missed , she has become one of the family over the years...The carpets are the originals and are probably ready for changing and the door handles are loose , inneed of a couple new bolts..... just a couple more things that i have remembered. 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. Haynes manual and fire extinguisher included. CD player with removable front.
