| Triumph Dolomite 1850 HL in BLUE For Sale (1979) edit C66984 | | | As you can see from the pictures its in very good condition apart from some minor rust spots, that could easily be repaired if done soon.
For the MOT all i had to do was the emmisions, the handbrake tightening and a headlight adjusting, not bad for a 29 year old car!
Some advisory items, where:
* Nearside front brake hose slightly deteriorated
* Offside front brake hose slightly deteriorated
* Some play in bottom steering bush
* battery insecure (This is because it snapped when i was trying to take the battery out and i have just just used a spider net to keep it in)
* nearside front tyre close to legal limit (Has a new tyre)
Three of the tyres are in good condition. The rear view mirror has broken and will need a new one, which isnt expensive off ebay or rimmer brothers.
All mechanically sounds, the car drives very well for its age and has a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive!! The interior is in alright condition, if you really wanted, could do with some tlc but looks fine, the rear seat and a bit of the roof lining at the back has some sun damage, which is very common, from people i have spoke too.
The exterior is in good conition apart from the rust spots in the picture and stated above, one side has been started and has a coat of primer, ready for a respray. I bought the car to restore over the summer but with having resits for University had no time :-(
Someone will get a very rare 1979 Triumph Dolomite 1850HL, i have looked around and cant find very many for sale, so get yourself a rare classic, that will keep increasing in price.
