9 November 2016 I have owned this car for 22 years. The owner before me purchased the car 16 Dec 1970. It has been driven today 167750km, only 300km more then when I bought it 21 years ago. Three classic car magazines are responsible for some of those km when they have written articles about the car. I myself have just more or less driven it to have it tested (SBP, APK, MOT) every second year. The car is a bit known as "The moon car", since it has been said Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (was on the moon 1969) drove this car on a visit in Sweden 1970 or 1971.
The color is white, and interior is blue. The paint is still the original, and it is in such nice condition that people believe the car has had a recent respray.
It is car number 3356 built, so it is rather early. First registration 10 Febr 1969.
Automatic gearbox and power steering.
The Swedish MOT is now valid until May 2016.
In the 21 years I have owned it I have only had to replace a few brake hoses. Except from that the car is just as when I bought it from the second owner.
It is an unrestored car, with the feeling that only an unrestored car can give you. The impression just the same as if it was only a few years old.
Volvo Amazon in great condition! This solid Volvo drives and handles great.
