| fully restored Willys Jeep For Sale (1944) edit C67413 | | | This jeep when it arrived was a total wreck but since then it has gone through an intensive six month rebuild/restoration to bring the vehicle back to as near as it was when it rolled of the production line in December 1944.
The following is a list as to what has gone into to this restoration ,new body tub ,new wings ,new bonnet ,new grill , new wheels and tyres , new canvas through out which includes a new canvas hood , new seats , leaf springs , shackles , pins ,brake system , radiator , fuel tank , fuel system , wire loom etc.
The engine has been rebored ,new piston and rings , crank reground with new bearings , cylinder head reskimmed , new water pump , carb rebuilt ,geny rebuilt , new gaskets and seals through out , new exhaust system.
Prop shafts rebuilt along with both the gearbox and transfer case.
Both axles have been stripped and all the oil seals replaced , differentials taken out and reset to factory settings and new bearings as and where needed .
As it was made in december 1944 it should have and will come with , lubrication chart and holder , first aid tin and bracket , grease gun and bracket ,axe ,shovel , jerry can ,hand crank and spare wheel.
