This car is a 1979 model (30 years old this year) T registration.
Fully restored 11 weeks ago with Thousands spent on him.
Here we have this stunning show car mini that has been completely restored to the highest of standards it is ready to show and has only done 260 miles since being completed.
I took him to the mini show at Malvern Show Ground Worcestershire a few months ago and he really drew the crowds.
This car underwent a complete strip down to a bare shell and was totally stripped down to bare metal to show any areas that need attention the shell was then proffesionally resprayed including the underneath,with many coats of paint and then was oven baked.
The underside is painted as good as the outside. Look at the pics.
The subframes were new and have been painted gloss black.
All the running gear underneath is new
including, colour coded orange poly bushes on the whole car,
Stainless Steel Braided Brake Flexis,New brake cables and complete copper pipe set.
The radius arms, and tie bars are all new, as are all the brakes.
The car has adjusta rides all round and new shock absorbers which are adjustable.
The front end has had new discs pads and bearings,steering rack and ball joints all nuts and washers are new.
The alloys are brand new 13 inch Starmag Raceline wheels with black inners and polished chrome and brand new Yokohama tyres.
Engine
The engine is a 1275 cc taken from a Metro,this and the gearbox has been totally stripped and then rebuilt with all new gaskets and fittings and fluids.
It has a full Stage 1 Tuning Kit,The carburetor has been completly reconditioned a new k&n filter fitted and a 3 branch manifold and stainless steel exhaust fitted.
Outside
It has crystal “Angel Eye” Headlamps that have very bright lights in them,Front and side indicators and sports pack arches.
Interior
The interior of the car has a new dark black carpet fitted, and half leather mini cooper seats and door cards.
A brand new heater matrix has been fitted so the heater works well.
It has a walnut dash fitted which compliments the single centre speedometer with separate oil and temperature guages. Also fitted is a centre console bought from Custom Consoles this is in red and black to match the contrast of the car
Sound System ( over £500)
In the centre console there is a brand new Sony cd/ mp3/ usb player,
Below the rear seats there is a wallnut speaker board with 2 Vibe 6x9 speakers,
Underneath the passenger seat is a brand new Coustic 500 watt amplifier that is wired to a Rockford Fosgate 10 inch subwoofer that is located in a custom built sub box in the custom built boot that is black and lined with red piping.
This car is absolutley Rust Free and in Showroom condition, it is cleaned and garaged after use.
You will find it very hard to find a mini in this condition for anywhere near the price of this one, and it is for sale for less than the rebuild cost.
