please do not confuse this immaculate,concours winning mk1 do not confuse this car with the rest of the tired boyracer lowered shed rubbish on sale today the car is a stunning left hand drive(lhd) mk1 golf gti 1800cc 8v cabriolet...this car has covered a genuine 17,000 miles from new and has had 1 previous owner with full histroy..the golf is a genuine usa spec car and was imported back into this country by its orginal ower david sutton who himself set up and owns daventry motorsport museum...he ordered this car himself for his wife as a retitrement present when he had one of the uk's biggest vw audi motorsport dealerships back in 1986...the car was a one off factory special and has many extras which include.....aircon.power assited steering(pas),electric windows,full trio white pack(white paintwork white interior and white body kit),vw motorsport steering wheel,full kamei very rare x1 body kit,zender bonnet vent,zender badgeless grill and same size headlamp conversion and very rare exip bbs type(but far better)15" black and polish alloy outer rim alloy wheels..this car was imported back into the uk in 1998 from the sunny usa and sat in daventry motorsport museum until september 2003 when i brought it...the car does have a big history file and is 110% rust free genuine un touched car...the car has only covered 1100 miles since i brought it 5 years ago...it does spend all its time in a full heated garage under a dust cover...i have spent many hours on this car cleaning it and turning it in to the show winning concours car it is today...the car is ideal for your winter get away to your villa abroad and is the best golf mk1 on the market today...please please do not confuse this car with the rusty sheds around today....it is the best golf you will ever see...come and have a look,i strongly recommend viewing to avoid disapointment as cars like these do not come round every day...do not let the fact that it is a left hand drive car....these in fact are very easy if not better to drive on the uk roads..i have owned many left hand drive cars including big 300+bhp lancia delta integrale's and find them so much better to drive over here on our roads
