| Immaculate Triumph Spitfire 1500 For Sale (1979) edit C68738 | | | Extremely good condition having been subjected to a full body restoration using Heritage panels and has been professionally refinished in Brooklands Green. The front end is a steel Heritage panel.
All interior trim has been replaced with new parts including seatcovers, door cards, carpets etc. and the dashboard has been re-veneered in Burr Walnut.
Mechanically the engine was re-built with new rings, bearings, timing chain, and has had an un-leaded cylinder head fitted. A stainless steel extractor manifold and Triumphtune twin box exhaust system is fitted. The gearbox has overdrive which operates smoothly. The braking system has been completely replaced with copper pipes, Goodridge hoses, and Green Stuff kevlar brake pads. The braking system is filled with silicone brake fluid.
The 5J wheels have been powder coated and fitted with 175/70 tyres. The vehicle has been dry stored throughout my ownership, and only has occasional dry use. Long MOT. Reciepts available for over £4500.
