new in Germany in 1982 where it stayed for 2 years before being imported into the UK it has only had 2 owners in the UK [one from 1984 when imported until 2000 16 years ]and only one previous owner in Germany it has good service history from new with 4 services in Germany at Mercedes main dealer in Berlin
then a further 25 stamps in the UK 19 of them at Mercedes Main dealers leading up to an incredible 368,103 miles by Feb of 1997 it has been hardly used in the last ten years and the mileage now stands at 396,000 It has had major work to get it back to its former glory including full new exhaust / 4 new tyres / new battery /new radiator / pads front and rear and professional respray to both rear quarter panels SO NO RUSTY REAR ARCHES [ picture available to show arch before chrome trim was put back on ]It starts first time everytime and runs and drives superbly everything works just fine including all four electric windows/heater/wipers/radio cassette etc this is a testament to the build quality of these W123 series cars before sale the car will be valeted and have a oil & filter change as well as new wiper blades and a set of rubber mats fitted overall the car is in good order with only minor stone chips etc on the bodywork the interior is good but does have a different colour drivers seat fitted now covered by a black seat cover this really is the only thing to spoil the car and bring down the price as these 230TE,s are really sought after and still fetch incredible money for mint examples
