| Jaguar XJ6 3.4 Auto SOLD (1982) C70192 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | XJ6 3.4L 6cyl on carbs, for sale due to me not having the time to put it on the road, hence it has no mot or tax. The car does however have a very straight and almost rust free body, thanks to the previous owner having waxoil'd the underside, and paintwork is good on all except the boot lid, the interior is also very clean with only some cracked laquer on the wood letting it down. I fitted a new starter ring gear when I got the car and took it for a short drive, which proved everything to be in good order apart from a blowing exhaust and the handbrake not working. The car has not been started since so it will probably need a little coaxing now, but there were certainly no major mechanical issues.
