Dodge Charger px/ For Sale (1970) on Car And Classic UK

I am reluctantly putting up for sale or swap my dream car, 1970 Charger. It is currently at a restoration workshop where it was stripped down before being sent for eco dipping and coating to remove all traces of rust before prep for painting. The process involves having the whole shell immersed in a tank to chemically strip it back to bare metal everywhere and then it was electrophoreticly coated in a black weld through finish. It is the best way to prepare a car and cost me £2200 to have done. It is an Automatic 318 cu. in. car from the factory, I have the broadcast sheet and details of the two owners in the States.The first had it for 30 years, the second was a member of the 70 charger registry. He had the boot floor and rear wings replaced before running out of money and putting it on American E-bay. I had the car on the road in 06 before deciding to have it restored, but no longer have the budget to see it through. It is a very good example requiring some metalwork prior to being painted and built back up. The original colour is FK5 Dark Burnt Orange but it could be any colour you like. It could also be made into a hemi or 440 clone, anything you want to do is possible depending on your preference. The original 318 engine has done 100,000 miles and still runs fine, although it has now been out of the car for a couple of years. It will need a new interior (black) but I have everything that came off it including all the bumpers etc. It is a 500 model. The work needed prior to painting is mostly a complete floor and the rear panel behind the back window, the doors and trunk lid/hood are all fine. I would like to sell but will consider a swap or deal for another American car (Cuda, Challenger, Mustang,camero etc)as long as its mot'd and on the road.
