Triumph GT6 in mint condition SOLD (1973) C73045 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | Change in my job and relocation forces me to sell Triumph GT6 MkIII.
Late model Triumph GT6, Rotoflex, first registered February 1973. and has tax exemption. The car is in good condition - a solid class 2 - and is mechanically sound with excellent body work and a nice interior.All seals have been changed beginning of December 2008.
Sills are good The interior is very tidy, good door cards, good carpets, bucket seats and harness and a face off CD player! The drivers door needs a little adjustement
All the tyres good, plenty of tread left. The paint work is ok - orignal colour was that love-or-hate it white.
As for the mechanics it has that beautiful straight six up front with twin SU carburettors and K&N pancake filters. There is also 2 cooling fan, one is the original, and the second one is a kenlowe, spin-on oil filter conversion, hi-torque starter motor and oil pressure sender (combined temp and oil gauge fitted but I still have the original temp one - will come with the car). Car always starts and runs smoothly - pulls really well and can still show new cars a thing or two. No leaks or drips from the engine and has been trouble free since I've owned it.
The chassis is good, and rust free, it has been steamed clean and recoated.Suspension are spax adjustable, the rotoflex are new, clutch is new, gearbox is recoditionned, front discs are new, as well as rear break.
The car has been rewired, so all electrics are original.
The car comes with lots of documentation.

S/S standard exhaust, sunroof, Kenlowe fan, spin on oil filter conversion.
Excellent bodywork and chrome (underside still in white paint – no rust/underseal).
