Mercedes 500 SEC Gemballa LHD SOLD (1984) C75188 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | This is by far and away the rarest of all the sec's and this one even more so, originally ordered new from Gemballa by a sheik from the middle east this model was fitted with the SE bonnet and grill giving it an even more distinct and unique look [if thats possible!!!] A true piece of motoring history, Gemballa have long since stopped modifying mercedes and now only do porche's, this truly is a unique car and one for the collection. The car its self is in remarkable condition for its age and has undergone some recent refurbishment which has seen the enormous 15" x 13j rear wheels and the fronts all being sent back to france to the GOTTI factory who were the originanl supplier for a full rebuild and restore [almost 4 figures!] a full service, 2 x new powerflow rear exhaust sections with twin amg style exit pipes, new rear lights and indicators, new dechromed grill and badges [all mercedes], new touch screen cd + dvd head unit capable of receiving ipod, mp3 and camera should you wish all routed through the cars gemballa speaker pods [sounds lovely], the speedo indicates 40,000 kilometers and the car comes with a letter from 1991 when imported to confirm 4000 kilometers and mot's from then till now showing very very limited use up untill the present day, the car has just passed a new mot and is fully road prepared and creats enormous interest where ever it goes, it really is a sight to behold, the size is only really appreciated in the flesh, serious enquiries are welcomed and viewings easily arranged, please call for any other information
